Seriously, please read up on page rank, what it is, and is not, feel free to use the search box here, and page rank is not related to how many visitors visit your site. Faith |

PR is a value that gets passed from one site to another - sort of like a disease, except in this case it's suposed to be a mesaure of trust for the site. The level of incoming and outgoing PR depends on various factors, main one being number of outgoing links on the source page.

Page Rank has nothing to do or have any correlation with Traffic as it is not the traffic rank if you want to know your traffic rank then visit alexa dot com as alexa provides the traffic detail for any site.
Now as you have asked what to do for PR 1 is just do some SEO means make a sitemap for your site and submit it, internal links make clear, get some back links from the sites related to your niche, write article related to your site niche give a back link to your site and submit it in article directory. Hope this will work for you. |

Firstly, for traffic details, Alexa is nothing to be trusted upon, use Google analytics for a better picture. Coming on to the PR. As some posters recommended u in the above posts, please first do read about that before asking about it. Just for your help, read this: http://forums.seochat.com/google-page-rank-47/stop-asking-about-google-pr-read-this-first-141413.html Get rid of the assumption that PR has anything to do with traffic and i'll suggest first stop worrying about PR altogether. Concentrate on other important aspects first. If you are badly in need of a PR hike, then i'll suggest start getting as many one way links as possible. The only thing that determines the PR of a page is LINKS
PR of a page is not determined by: The number of visitors to the page The Demographics of the visitors - young/old/male/female The BG color of the page The Font Style/Color of the page The Amount of Text on the page ...or any other thing for that matter. Its just about links links and more links

No, you are right for that matter as PR is only affected by links, nothing else. |

For pagerank, links are king
If you're currently at PR0 an easy way for a little bit of link love might be to put some quality high authority outbound links on your page. Just a suggestion, you really need to start getting inbounds. Also I believe PR updates every 90 days or so, depending on google's mood swings... so you won't see immediate changes.
