It does have a PR 7. Try clicking on a link from another site that links to yours. That might make it show up.

Also matrix 28, I saw that you have a matrix28.com/index.htm page with PR 5. Why not get rid of it and let all the 'home' links point to domain name alone? That will help. It has helped me for sure.

Maneesh, re. your comments about making the 'home' links point to domain name alone. I have often wondered whether it is better for internal links to be the full url rather than a relative url (../../home.html, etc.). Is one way better than the other?

type in link:http://www.matrix28.com/ in the Google search box and click search the web. Now click the back button. Your PR should be showing.

BTW I only see PR5

Well, the reason behind such linking is that when you have /index.htm page (or .php or any), you create two pages where your links and PR are diverted to- the index.htm page that you created and the page with domain name that exists by default. The inbound links (from other sites) will normally point to the domain name (unless you specify otherwise) and the sub-pages will point to .htm page. Now since the links are distributed, thus the PR being assigned is distributed as well. Worse still, the anchor text too might well be distributed with sub-pages pointing to one page and other sites pointing to another. So, it's better not to have a /.index.htm page. Let me tell you my experience- I got rid of index.htm and my PR rose from 5 to 6.

I'm sorry if this sounds stupid Maneesh, but if you got rid of your index.htm page what did you have in its place? You must have something???

Go to www.matrimonialsindia.com or www.indianyellowpages.com and see where do the 'home' links point to. They simply point to www.matrimonialsindia.com or www.indianyellowpages.com. Though I don't know much about programming, but I wonder why a like /index.htm is required when you can simply point to domain name itself.
