Help w/this theory...
This site has a lot of friends' sites to link to him, etc, and I admit, I did a while ago before he actually even had the 7/10 PR.His main page has a 7/10 PR BUT his inner pages are not ranked, although I had thought at one time they were....Further more it was pointed out that he has it so they will not crawl them, <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW">
Now I'm theorizing to my group that he has such a high PR based that all these popular sites are linking back to him, mainly from their main pages, I might add-yet he's not sharing his PR w/anyone... What do you think? http://www.likemom.com I'd like opinions or help on this

Some of his inner pages do have PR and I can't see the <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW"> meta tag.
However, even if that were the case, he has a high PR because of more than 1400 links registered in Google, many of them high-ranking pages themselves. Quote:
This wouldn't dilute his own PR, it would just pass on some of it to whichever pages he linked to. Gringo. |

Do you think the inner pages have just not been indexed then by Google? The tag someone else said was up, but I didn't have time to check, sorry.
How did you find out some of the inner pages had PR, lol?Was there a search I could do for that ? |

All 5 of his inner pages referenced from the bottom menu are in Google (there is a cache) and DO have PR. Some of the other inner pages only have an estimated PR and are not indexed by Google because he's using dynamic links of more than 2 variables, which Google doesn't follow.

Ahhh...okay...hmm...so would you say it's safe then to be on that site?Honestly, to me, I think so, but I'm a novice, rofl-I certainly don't see the harm, except we don't seem to be getting any recognition for being linked there. But I'd like to be able to post back to my group either nay or yah for this site.
Thanks again-you're the man! |

It's certainly safe to be that site, yes. Google probably won't recognise the link though, because of what we've already discussed above.
So, you may get traffic via hits from his site, but you won't get more PR because of being on there. Gringo. |
