You need to get more links to your site. PR6 with only 74 registered links in Google is pretty good, particularly when many of them come from yor own site. Bear in mind that PR is logorithmic, so it will be much more difficult to get PR7 than it was to achieve PR6. Although a single link from a PR8 page would help a lot
In any case, PR isn't always the most important factor. Lower PR sites are often top in the search rankings (otherwise Google itself, with what many think is actally a PR11, would be top for all searches). Concentrate on getting more links with, if possible, your keywords in the anchor text, and you'll find yourself at the top of the rankings for your important searches. And yes, if you have got more links recently, you should slowly go up in the rankings but this, of course, also depends on what your competitors have been doing. How do you get more links? The more content you add, the more it's updated and the more useful your site is to users, the more links you'll get. Apart from the typical link exchange requests you might like to send out to similar sites. Gringo. |

Rogue - it's not down for me. There's been an Internet attack all day that is making many sites difficult to access.

Thanks Gringo...it's back up now. It was down when I first looked and I thought I'd post in the hopes that they'd get the message and look into it.

I'm in Thailand right now on business guys - and I was sitting at my computer for about 30 minutes trying to load a single 10k page - and 99% of all pages wouldn't even load.. That "malicious code" really did work!

Im on a computer on the yale network. The whole network was down from midnight to around noon today. It was horrible. I couldnt even ping a computer in an office 3 rooms over. But thats what ya get if you dont secure your servers. I hope everybody learned something. Well besides that Microsoft is vulnerable; we all already knew that! Its sad, the security patch was released last June... After Code-Red everyone figured nothing else like this was going to come along...
