Yee Haw!
A new section of my PR 5 site made its debut...at PR6!!! This is a good day.
I saw some very strange movements on my toolbar as well - Yahoo's homepage jumped from a PR9 to 10 then back to 9 and now it's 10 again. They've got some funny ways of updating. I always presumed the calculations and movement was tracked separately and the toolbar was just pulled from one big database that updates when GG gives the word.
Thanks to Google, I accidentally (coincidentally?) predicted this PR update on Sept. 7th - http://forums.seochat.com/t15257/s.html
I still haven't seen movement on many sites - I'm guessing we'll have to wait until tomorrow morning for the dust to really settle.
I'm getting PR now. Not as high as I'd like. But better than nothing.Originally Posted by insurance quote
My PR0 site, launched back in March, now shows PR4 on about 40% of the datacenters.
I have not checked internal pages yet. Will do that next.
I'm not so sure why everyone is so happy with this -- I really thought the consensus was moving toward "PR is gone and good riddance".
Well, at least it will be easier exchanging links now with those knuckleheads who would not trade with a new PR0 site.
Can anyone post there website URL or something, because I'm not seeing ANY PR movement for ANY of my websites.

Whoo HOO!!!! FINALLY!!!
My site that is about 3 months old and it FINALLY got PR. After every morning waking up to a PR 0 and now see that I am a PR 4! I am so happy!!!!! What did I do to deserve this?!! Maybe it was that dollar that I donated to the Children's Cancer fund on Sunday???!
But yes it does seem that my site is still wayyyyyy down in the SERPs. Hopefully the dust WILL settle and there will be even MORE light at the end of the tunnel?

I'm guessing it is very early in the update - I've seen a few changes, but not much. How long has it taken in the past for the PR changes to settle down?

And one home page drop from 7 to 6 - bummer!
That's exactly why I'm so excited. Because with a new site it's almost impossible to get people to exchange links. Most people don't want to know about a site that's showing a PR0. Even I'm one of those knuckleheads that don'tOriginally Posted by dingo

My site shows PR 3 in all datacenters.
My major keyword is now showing on on the serps

People should realize that PR could actually stay the same for the odd site or twoSorry to spoil the fun...
But I guess you DID try the tool mentioned earlier. Chances are the TB hasn't picked up on it yet. Mine hasn't, but the future PR ranking tool shows.
P.S.: I was talking to jfontestad and mountainmad, before a whole crowd butted in![]()

I have lots of sites dropping a single point.
One of my clients had a rock solid PR7 homepage, the prediction tools suggest a possible PR6.
Crap.
(important note: the rankings and convertion rates are better than ever for the site)
