I must first thank to Google. Found one of my site's PR increased post this Google's first page rank update in the current year 2013. And happy to know mu other sites PR is stable rather going down.

My site is actually extremely new, I started it in early January and after the recent update found it having a PR of 2. So I managed to get a PR2 in around a month. I was pretty shocked, but I do work in SEO so I know...

Content = King.

After recent updates in Google rank algorithms on 14th January 2013, many new websites got the advantage of having no spam links or for not having over optimization. However, the game for better rank has started again, to do better in rank, only adopt genuine SEO practices.

I’ve been working over the past several months to build links to my website and blog. Around the first week of February I noted that one of my pages dropped in page rank. About the same time I noticed that many web directories had been demoted by one or two ranks as well. More importantly, it seems that the directories pages listing the various websites that were registered are now being shown as PR n/a. So where a directory landing page may be listed at 4 or 5, and a subdirectory page as a 2 or 3, the page where the websites are actually listed are now, for the most part, listed as PR n/a.

With this in mind, is there really any benefit to being listed in a directory with a PR n/a page?
