Hi,
We see a huge difference between our Google rankings with and without the alleged “Sand box” filter. If there is a “Sand box”, which I choose to believe, then what can be done to earn an early exit pass? Also, we have two websites planned to launch in August and October. Would it be a good idea to move plans ahead so they will not be in the “Sand box” during the Christmas shopping season? Will it enough to just upload the site structure, or should we rush to write the page text. Any advice and or recommendation are appreciated. Thank you.

Hi opti,
Thank you for the link. I guess we should not have gotten all those back links so fast. |

Some people have noticed a tendancy for new sites to stay low in the rankings for two or three months and then suddenly improve in rankings quite a lot.
Whatever the reason, and whatever name you give to it, it would seem prudent to launch new sites two or three months before the time you want them to rank highly. Of course it has always been a good plan to launch well ahead of time to give rankings a chance to build up. |

I would definitely launch early. It can take longer than expected to rise the ranks in Google.

Launch early if you can, but Google may have changed by then...

On my latest, I just stuck up an outline using the page names that I intend. I'm getting a few links when I can, but I'm not even taking it seriously for at least six weeks. That 3 mos. wait on the last new one was pretty frustrating.

Just having the domain parked for a while seems to work. After a while the parked page is indexed and then new content can be added to the site. I always put up a "parked Page" site for the domains that I aquire. After a while they are ready to work with and get fast reindexed, also Yahoo reindex quite fast now.
