Do links like this transfer PR out of your site?
http://www.diet-links.com/links/cgi/jump.cgi?ID=990
This guy has a PR6 website, yet has many outbound links such as the one above... Is this a way to not pass PR to people that are supposed to be link partners? |

I may be very wrong... there are many things I'm not aware of. So I look if sites have backlinks listed. None of the sites I checked were showing this site in their backlinks. I would say they are stealth links. |

Aha, the site is using Links from Gossamer Threads Inc.
By sending the clicks trugh the cgi script, google isn't able to pass the pagerank. However there is no benefit from doing this, since the pagerank will be lost. (Ofcourse I could be wrong). |

Seems really sleazy as it is still seen as an outbound href, so effectivly you are just screwing your lniks partner not helping yourself

It doesn't have to be like that. You could change the Links template to use direct links (but then it get hard to count click trough), you could serve the cgi links to visitors and direct links to spiders (you would be passing PR external sites) or you could choose not to serve anylinks at all to spiders (to keep PR on site). |

"HELP PLEASE" Incomming Links - How long before they will show up?
This question concernes Google link reconition. I set up 3 dedicated servers in 3 different citys with around 60 sites on each server. All of the sites on each server have one way links to most of the sites on the other two. I have had the sites up for around 45 days now and most of them have been indexed by Google. Each of the sites has a links page with around 60 outbound links on the links page to my other sites. None of the links are showing up. When I search for the words in the url's using the google comand (Find web pages that contain the term "www.xxxx.com/")
they show up in the google listing but not as links to my other sites only as pages that contain the term "www.xxxx.com". Here are my questions: 1. How long does it take for links to show up considering most of the sites homepages have already been indexed by google. 2. Is 60 outbound links to other sites to much for any site to have? 3. Is it a problem that all of the sites on my servers have a PR of 0. Does a link from a PR 0 site not show up. |

#1: It takes 2 updates generally for links to show up "if" you have pagerank
#2: No #3: PR 0 does very little for you and it is likely they wil not show up. Of more concern is the method you are attempting to artificially inflate your pagerank. You are going about attempting to build your Pr all wrong (of course I am assuming here just going on what you have said) this action will do you more harm than good. Just to make sure if you would like to post or PM the domains we can take a look for you Cheers |
