I've checked my page rank at prchecker
and get this result: 3/10 What does it mean exactly? I also check "seochat forums" page rank which I get also 3/10... Could anyone explain this confusing results? Since that seochat forums should have been through a good SEO job, and my site (selcom updated) should be not in popular demand... |

PR is only a measure of link popularity and it has very little to do with the search engine results.

Your question has confused me...how ever the best definition of page rank is at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PageRank
Now a days page rank is more or likely a reputation and authentication mark of any website, it depends wholly on best content and quality back links. |

Having the best content doesn't increase your PR... You can have the best content on the web but if no one links to your site, you're never going past PR0. It's not part of the formula. It only affects PR indirectly if people think your content is good and decide to link to your URL. Then it is those links affect your PR (not the content)...
If you don't understand what page rank is then I suggest you read The Anatomy of a Large-Scale Hypertextual Web Search Engine and Google's Patent on Page Rank. |

Page rank has no direct relationship with content. I could write the best content available anywhere on the web and the page could stay PR0 forever. Good, well marketed content can however attract links which will drive PR. |
