Client Redirect Script
Hey all,
I'm trying to figure out what the impact would be if I used a php script to redirect to clients website from mine. the idea is for us to find out how many hits they get from our website. Would this affect their PR as the link url isn't theirs, but the the link still goes to their site? If I could get some feedback on this that would be great. I have only been involved in the SEO side of things for a short time and am a total rookie. Thanks, Evan |

Why not just use some kind of a link tracking script???
php redirects output a 302 header response if I'm not mistaken, which would be just fine.... well I guess this is your own php link tracking script actually - should be ok! - Check the headers with a server header checker too though!

Where would the link be that they are actually clicking, your site or somewhere else?
Where would the people clicking the link think that the link is going to take them? mb |
