artificially alterting internal pagerank
if i have 2 links on mypage.htm to homepage.htm will this count as two "votes" and receive two shares of mypage.htm's pagerank?
i.e. mypage.htm has a pagerank of 1000. there are 5 links on mypage.htm. 2 of the links point to the homepage. so (1000 / 5) * 2 = 400 points passed on to homepage.htm? does that make sense!?! |

I doubt the second link would be counted when calculating page rank

ok. so would that 2nd link dilute the pagerank even further or does google just look for unique links?
