Anybody Else Noticing A Decline In PR?
I just noticed that Google downgraded my site from a PR of 7 to a PR of 6. This seems odd, because I have been deleting non-reciprocating sites from my linkpages and increasing keyword density.
The link pages on my site are scattered throughout the site, I don't have any pages with more than 50 sites listed, and there are multiple deep-backlinks (e.g. pointing to a page other than my home page). In addition, the number of backlinks shown by google seems to be fairly steady. Is this an abberation or does anybody have other ideas? Thanks. |

Could be internal link structure. Have you changed that? Also someone linking to you could have had a PR drop. there fore dropping your PR

I've actually been fixing bugs in my internal linking structure, which even before, was quite good. Could a be a PR drop for linking site, though it doesn't seem like one site should have caused it.

one link from a pr7 site can give you a six. and if it drops to a 6 you could drop to a 5. A good indicator that it is your link structure is if your internal pages pr went up while your index went down.
