Unhappy 0 PR, no love from Google...

As much as I love Google and all, I'm not sure why they assigned a 0 pagerank to a new page we just put up. Can anyone tell me if this page violates any Google rules?

We just put the page up 2 days ago, started with a gray bar, now we've got a zero. Any idea?

From what I have read on forums, grey bar means Google hasn't crawled the page yet. White bar means that it has crawled your page, therefore you need to be patient and wait for the PR/BL update to come so Google can assign it some PR. It might not be this update, it may be the next since the page is only 2 days old. "Be patient and they will come" Just give it a few updates and it should get its PR.

Could be 6 months before you get a PR,

Dan

Don't use the time for waiting, use it to add content and backlinks. Good luck.

6 months really? I though I had read somewhere in these forums that PR updated every 5 weeks or so.

6 months is a lot of time, I don't think its that long. If your site has decent PR and that page has a link from another page with decent PR you should see PR within 1 to 2 updates.
