Wrong Pages Ranking Highest in SERPS

I am having trouble with my site indexing the right pages on the top of Google Search results. My site is ranking for the keywords that the article was written for but the wrong pages are ranking the highest in Google Search. Here is an example of what I mean and maybe someone can shed some light on what the problem is.

My site is Wordpress based and has a Twitter feed of recent tweets in the sidebar. I have been struggling with ranking issues recently and I think that whatever is causing this issue may be partially to blame for that.

I am using that Wordpress SEO plugin by Yoast if that helps.
