    Wrong Description

How do I prevent Home| My Account| Contact Us | other Link from appearing in my google description? I have a logo and these are the 1st words on the page. Is there anyway to change this without changing my page?

    Thanks

Either uss css absolute positioning or The Table Trick to make the menu appear farther down in the code, yet still look like it is in the same place when viewed in the browser.

Would absolute positioning allow me put a more relevent summary without having appear on the site?

Be very careful with absolute positioning. By using absolute positioning, you are risking the position of the items that you are placing to not show up correctly in some browsers.

But then again, who uses Netscape and all the rest anyways? Thats like trying to optimize for MSN instead of Google! Bah!

As much as I hate Microsoft.. sigh.

Don't mess around with hidden text in any way, nate.s . Yes, you can do that, but I strongly advise against it. And hexed is correct in that using absolute positioning will look terrible in some browsers. But I made the decision a while back that those people who still use those browsers needed to get a life. ;-)
