    Wrong cache showing on Google

I have been experiencing a rare problem with Google's cache of my
    site.

Basically when I do cache:my domain I see another site and they have
also given me a PR6 from the other site.

Upon further investigation I see that a few other people have
experienced a similar problem of Google caching the wrong site but as
yet am unable to find a definitive solution.

    I tried 3 approaches:

    1. Webmaster Tools - asked for cache to be removed without changing
the Meta, but this was quickly declined.

    2. Entered the info in the form "Dissatisfied with our results?"

    3. Tried calling Google - waste of time

Can anyone recommend a definite way of fixing this as I'm not
convinced a Google Bot revisit to my home page will have an effect -
    or will it?

I had this happen before, it usually resolves itself within several days, basically the next time the bot comes by.

I had this problem for 3 months, on a dedicated server, I feel your pain. I contacted Google through WMT and waited... in the end changing name servers is what fixed it for me but that could have been a fluke.

Thanks for your suggestions. Have done some linking but Google has now re-cached the site again at the same URL. I will wait 3 weeks before I change DNS.

Hi all. I have the SAME problem and I am STILL looking for a solution. I actually saw the web url of the cached page in my htacccess file and removed it. It's been a week now, and when I checked the cache page it's the same page... AND it's been cached page *twice* since then.

Still the same page in the cache.

So I'm really annoyed at the moment.

Is it possible to speak to Google? I can't see a number anywhere.
