WMT Index Status Flatlined for 6 Weeks?
I've been working on getting junk pages deindexed. My highest index was about 62k, I'd like to see it down to maybe 5-10k at the most. By killing these pages, 404 and 301 redirecting them I was seeing small improvements and got the number down to 43k. Since then, my index status has completely flatlined for 6 solid weeks. No where in my site history have I ever seen an exact same number hold like this - there has always been some movement either up or down.
A few days ago I've started to serve 410 Gone to these pages in hopes of kicking in some movement again.
What's going on, and how do I combat this?

Well it finally took a big drop today, by 22k. Indexing is now to levels of early last year, before G hit me hard. Hopefully it will be a good thing, and hopefully it will continue to decrease a bit more.
