Will this work?
I built a website nearly a year ago for a the below reason and its now ranking of page one google for a few keywords in its Field.
I'm a builder but this site is not in my Field (not work i do) but still in the building trade.
As the site is now ranking well and is getting some traffic which I have been passing on to a friend, I want to add areas pages and then offer listing on these pages to company's in this Field just there company info address and phone numbers but no links going to there websites in return for a back link to one of my sites....
How will this go down with big g ?
I know it will be a paided link but will it be below the google radar some what as its not a Reciprocal link.

IMO three way link exchanges that make sense (relevant) may not help your ranking but will not do any harm.
If you want to make sure then point to their page (on your site) with a no follow link, write all the content in HTML but put the company information as an image! May be a picture of their business card.
The reason you use no follow is to avoid duplicate content as every page that you make for different companies is going to have very similar content.

Hi Raz,
Thank for the input, what I am think of doing is having listings on site A
I.E built area pages that suit the company's that I list to the site A and add there details phone and company address but do not link to them.. and in return for there listing I get a link to one of the sites that I use for my business.
Site A is not a service I offer but is still within the building industry so the links back will be relevant.
The whole point being I will get one way links back to the sites I use for my business.
How will google treat this as they will be 1 way links to my sites with no return link from site A.
Thanks for any help received

I understand what you mean. The first line of my response was referring to that very scheme, which is known as three way link building.
If you handle it the way I explained above, then you will get the full benefit of the links and you will not suffer the consequences of duplicate content.
You indicated that they won’t mind so you are not hurting your partners, just squiring every ounce of benefit from the links.

Cheers Raz for your help,
I though that three way link building had to have more than one link involed, I was hoping to keep below the radar of google and get the links coming to my sites seen as one way links.
Keep the links to my sites looking natural as possible, going to different sites and try at get the link valued as a one way link in the eyes of google.
Do you think this can be done?
Trying to learn here on sorry if im going over it some what.........
