Why would someone use % in filename?
Hello, I am curious why someone would use "Walnut%20Creek-California" in one of the file names. How is it beneficial in SEO?
Also, since i can not post in the Review my site section. Could someone please let me know what I need to improve on my site for ranking. Any information is much appreciated.

%20 means " " (space).
People don't use %20 in URLs voluntarily. It's just that 'space' characters in URLs are converted to %20 automatically.
There is NO SEO benefit.
Also: you cannot post in the Site Review section because it is not allowed. SeoChat forum rules - silly as they may be - do not allow site review requests of ANY kind by new members. Alas.

Always better to use hyphens instead of spaces - it's easier to read than 20% and more user-friendly... anything that can be detrimental to the user-friendliness of a site can be and will increasingly be detrimental to rankings

Yes, either hyphens or nothing at all... Don't use underscores. Google has been shown to have a problem treating strings with underscores as separate words.
