    The PageRank of my site : gowncity.com has increseased form 3 to 4 today.
    And I don't find any position for any keyword in google.:-(

    What does this mean::
    1. Google has indexed the page but my keywords can't place my site on top?
    2. Google has not indexed yet ? Or
    3. Any Other reason ...:-?

    thanks

    Search engines are getting better and better (well most of em) at indexing dynamic pages. However, they still seem to prefer static pages or directories, at least in getting them indexed. If you are worried about this, why not look into mod rewrite as an option? There are tons of threads around here about it.

    As far as being indexed, use the google toolbar to see if there is a cache of your page or type the link into google to see if it's cached. Most of your dynamic pages aren't indexed (I checked a couple). In regards to the keywords, you'll have to do a lot more work to get up to the top, especially on competitive keywords such as these. Have you starting getting listed in directories? I highly recommend working on unique content (articles) alongside of your link building, this is the most important thing I think if you want to get natural links.

    Why Search engines cannot index dynamic pages ??
    Search engine databases are full of millions of "dynamic pages".

    A good navigation system and higher PageRank values will persuade Google to index a web site (dynamic or not) more deeply.

    Some of my forums have the static link, and they got indexed fine. I have a forum with dynamic links, and it got indexed just fine too - even in pages with 4 parameters (by Google). I think Google has resolved the dynamic page issue quite well. The question is if you want to bother with the small percentage of search bots that may not deal well with dynamic pages (cost/benefit analysis).

    yes...DO create an easy to navigate SITE MAP for your site. google like's em and imho, uses them to 'double/check' it's navigation round your site. query here on this forum for more...but you'll find that a site map is highly rated as a good thing to have on your site!

    :-)
