Thumbs up Why is my site not showing up in SERP

I have tons of Unique content.

However even for the most unique long tail search phrases I do not show up.

for instance "Cedarwood oil makes a very good insect repellent (mosquitoes, moths, woodworms, leeches,"

a sentence right out of one of my product descriptions and I dont show up.

help! I'm afraid its something technical.
    cosmetic grade .com

if I cant list this url can an admin add it to mysig please.

    Hi Chris,

The phrase you're talking about appears only on an inner page of your site; so far Google have only indexed your home page.

If you search for "create your natural beauty" your site shows up (#3 out of 3).

The reasons why you aren't showing up for any other phrases are most probably:
    1. Lack of targetted backlinks with meaningful anchor text phrases (meaning that links using only your domain name as the anchor text will not help your rankings for anything other than your domain name).
    2. Your homepage has very little information about your site subject matter.

Get some links from related sites with targetted anchor texts and you'll see the difference; add some keyword rich copy to your home page and you'll see some more.

btw - adding your url to your post is ok (when it's relevant to the discussion) so long as it's not a link.

Chris... ClickyB is totally correct. The biggest help you can give yourself is to become a backlink guru. Backlinks are the most difficult part of off-page SEO. Study and put together a backlink strategy and plan... then do it.

There could be a number of reasons:
    1) Your content is not (yet) indexed (if your site is new)
    2) you have been blacklisted?
    3) As suggested by SEO_AM and Clicky you prolly dont have any backlinks - at least not to the specific URLs

I would suggest you cease the redirecting and just focus on the domain name without any / / extensions. Just guessing that is the one thing Google is not fond of...

    Internal navigation

Links are key. But don't forget internal site navigation. If there's an itnernal page that you really want to show up, then link to it from the home and several other well visited pages.

Well just adding tons of unique content wont take you to the top of the SERPs you need to properly optimize your site first and then you need to get lots of quality and related BLs.

    Chris,

If you want your other pages to show up in google you might want to use a sitemap in your homepage as well. It always helps.
