While creating duplicate content pages with different titles

I have website and I want to create almost 600 pages (for 600 products) for those i am using same article (content). there will be only changes in those articles are "PRODUCT NAME" and remaining article will be same.
So my question...can Google punish my site for duplicate content? can duplicate content will create problem in search engine ranking? or my articles will rank good in future for different Product name in Search Engine?

Each of your product descriptions must be unique. You can't just change a few words and leave the rest the same.

I dont know how to explain you but there is really no need to write different articles for 600 pages. please suggest me if you have other way to do it..

If you have 600 product pages with virtually no variation, this would be seen as duplication. It wouldn't' get a penalty as such, but your pages will barely rank at all as duplicated content gets filtered out.

I've created 230 pages with almost exact same articles and i was 3 months in google penalty area just because of that. So i wouldn't recommend it to anyone to create such thing.

BTW: There are some uniqueness checkers to check your site from duplicate content within your page.

it doesnt sound like there is a really big need to keep replicating the content. Why not make it an image instead of putting the text on each page. google will not ban you for duplicate content, on your own site, but it may not index all the subsequent pages. You should get marketing to write short unique product descriptions for each different page, even it its mainly the size of hte product etc.

there can be a very huge possibility of getting your site penalized by Google, due to duplicate content.Remember that Google wants unique content so focus on creating original and unique content... Thanks to KernelPanic for that helpful reference as well...

Hi Rajesh,

Having duplicate or same contents in all the products can harm the online presence of your products and website too. So avoid using same description for each product. Make original or you can just tingle and mingle the contents as suggested by KernelPanic.

Thanks.

It's better to post your products with its actual features both in title and contents, this naturally makes your article of products specific.
