Where to post articles for best SE results

I have a number of articles and i'm not sure if I should be just posting them to a single site like ezinearticles.com, posting them to say 100 different article sites, posting them just on my site or a combination of the above.

My site horsematsusa.com is < 1 year old and I am looking to increase links, build traffic and improve my search engine rankings.

If you had 10 articles, what would you do for the best result?

Thank you in advance for your help!

I would definitely be posting them to DIFFERENT article sites. We all know that links drive rankings (along with unique content and proper on-site SEO).

But as I've have studied my rankings along side with link acquisition patterns, I have come to believe that there is a premium for what I will call a "virgin link." By that, I mean, a link from a domain that has not ever linked to you before. Put another way, that first boost you get from Ezinearticles.com - because it is a well-trusted authority site - you will not get from your 2nd, 3rd and 4th links from Ezinearticles.com. I'm not saying the 2nd, 3rd and 4th links don't count - because they do. They just don't count nearly as much as that first one.

Since you are clearly following solid principles by writing good stuff, that will only be used once to avoid duplicate content, then you definitely should post these to 10 different sites.

Take it for what it's worth. We're all just guessing in the end except Google

Are there any other article sites you would recommend other than Ezine?

RE: Posting articles to multiple sites

    Thanks for the feedback!

If I post these to other websites, should I be putting a copy of the article on my website too or no?

Absolutely post them on your own site. If you are hell bent on putting articles somewhere else, create variations of the ones you put on your own site.

Why give your hard work and good content to some other site so they can reap the benefits when you can post it on your own site and receive the benefits?

Edit: I should also make the point that in certain instances, it may be very beneficial to write an article specifically for another site. These sites should not be ezine or article distribution sites but related, authoritative sites. Creating a small article for another site with a link back to your site can work wonders. Again, pick and choose the sites to try this with and only use 1 link back to a related page. Great opportunity to get a link deep into your site and editorial links are amongst the most reputable.

    Re

    Thanks for the wonderful advice...
I also think that putting articles on your own site, will make it mor content rich and thus it will be more beneficial, rather then submitting articles to other websites...

It seems to be unanimous. I thought that the external incoming links to my website from the articles might be more valuable than the internal ones? This is not the case?

No, you are correct but what you are essentially doing is giving your content away to another site. Parking it on your site will allow others to link to YOUR article on YOUR site, not link to an article ezine site (baring its good enough content to attract links). This can earn you many backlinks vs the 1 or 2 that you may get from an article distribution site.

Posting to article and ezine sites where there is no central theme and tons of articles being submitted regularly only pushes your submitted content deeper and deeper into the site. How deep do you think a search engine is going to go to find it? Unless you wrote a spectacular article that kept getting pushed up and staying at a top level page on one of these ezine sites, you won't be getting much value from them.

But if some1 use my articles up on forum and not edit also link to my site ? How I prevent this ? Because they can stole my content and put them to their website which has good backlink and PR => Their results will be better than my webiste on Google.

    1. get better backlink than them so u rank higher...
    2. ask mod to delete the post or threaten to sue them...
    3. sue them
