when will the main google server be updated?
My rankings have improved in the google dance, but for some reason the main google search engine still shows the old ranks and has no record of about 20 inbound links to my site. Has it not been updated yet? And when will yahoo show the new updated results? Thanks! Alex

The main site is not updated yet. Google is still dancing. I don't know exactly how many days will go on, but it should be over somewhere at the beginning of the next week (my supposition).

5 of the 7 datacenters have the updated index. You can be rest assured that as we a respeaking the other 2 datacenters are receiving it. I predict that the dance will finish on Sunday / Monday (Depending on your time zone). This is when the results on the WWW server will become stable.

Darrin, you said that 5 of the datacenters are updated. I've been trying for 2 days now to search "alpi rigacci" on all the datacenters. In the last 4 hours the site I submited (http://www.alpirigacci.fx.ro/) appeared only on three of the datacenters, and now on the forth also. That's even though, yesterday it was on all four (ex, sj, ab, in) . In the last four hours it showed up only on ex, ab and in.
Told you in a previous message that google is dancing samba with us...

I feel your pain
While I also get frustrated by the dance it's a bit like watching the marble bounce accross a roulette table. You have to give it credit for keeping us on our toes and chatting. For the main keyword phrase I am targetting there come up 3 different (though close) results. On three centres I've dropped from #3 to #4 (ugh) though I've now managed to purchase the domain name that has replaced me - he didn't know what was coming up and didn't want it anymore
Nonetheless I wouldn't give it past Sunday before it's over. Probably by the afternoon.
