What is the effect of similar pages in website ranking ?

Hello

I need to ask if my some of my site's pages are showing as Similar Pages in google then will they not appear in regular searches ?

What is the effect of being in Similar Pages / Results ?

Similar...they are treated like all the others.

Or maybe you meant supplemental, in this case, supplemental is like a separate index, and Google pull results out of it only when it has finished with normal results. Further, supplemental pages are spidered less often. Tey are somehow "B-level" pages.

I am not talking about Supplemental, I am asking about Similar pages. Sometimes we search for a phrase and find a few results on top and after that there is a link to show other Similar results. So if my pages are appearing in that Similar Pages list, are they black listed by Google ?

And what causes putting my pages there ?

Is similar content within my site is a reason ?
