Google Dance is an out-dated slang term used to describe the period of time in which Google used to rebuild its rankings, and as a result of this rebuilding, rankings of Web sites on Google's SERP may fluctuate in order during a several day period.

The Google dance:
A tribal dance performed by primitive shaman who call themselves "Search Engine Optimizers" to call up the power of the great Google and direct it to aid someone who is refereed to as a 'site'.
The dance starts with the shaman 'submiting' the 'site' thousands of times by throwing the person against a wall. It is considered good luck if the person gets stuck to the wall. Sometimes the 'site' dies during the process.
In the second stage of the dance the 'SEO' runs around in circles screaming incoherently at everyone in the area, repeating the name of the site every few words. This stage is known as 'commenting'. In some cases commenting provokes violent responses from the surrounding people.
In the final stage of the ceremonial dance the 'SEO' writes words on pieces of parchment or bark, these are considered very important and are known as 'key words'. The shaman takes them and stuffs them down the sites throat until the site eventually dies.

At no point does the 'SEO' ever actually use Google to look up the answer to stupid questions.
