What If I Change Internal Page URL?

    Old Url:

    ultralifeshop(dot)co(dot)uk/products/GOALS/energy_endurance

    New Url would be:

    ultralifeshop (dot)co (dot)uk/shop-by-goal/energy-endurance

    Consider the case:
link building is being done from about 1 year. What if I change the old url (accessible) to the new url?

Please give your valuable/logical comments in considering Google algorithm 2012

You should use redirect from the old url to the new one to let Google know that the old one has been change. That's ok for you to change the internal link..it make take one or two weeks for Google check back your site.

You need to 301 redirect the old URLs to the new ones. A 301 does enable the link juice of the old page to flow to the new one.

Ensure the new page is easily accessible via internal links too to speed up the indexing process of the new page...

If you are going to change your old url to new then you should use url redirect rule. Where you can get your previous traffic and sales.
