Website is not in first position when i type the name in.
Hi I have been doing some linkbuilding for my website, it is a new website, however when i type in the name of the website e.g pnrm site, the site appears below the directories I have placed my site in, how can i get to the first position when my website name is typed into google, I hope i am making sense.

Hi pnrmthink,

Difficult to say without seeing the site... If most of your incoming links are pointing to your home page it ought to rank first, but it depends on your anchors, page titles, internal navigation etc

More chance of a meaningful answer if you can give the site url (if you have problems adding it, leave a space before the .net / .com etc) and the exact search term you used (eg: was it really pnrm site? or just pnrm)?

Usually if the website name is unique it should automatically come to top. If however, the website's name is similar to other website's names you will have to work on creating more backlinks to come to the top.

Work on incoming links, write some press releases for your new site.
