HI everyone i have a website which i have hosted in world wide profits. later on i have hosted it on my dedicated server a month ago. The problem is the site is indexed in google on old url and new url is not indexed. so what should i do to index new url and remove old url from listings.

301 redirect the old url to the new ones for a start. It would also be useful to do a URL change in GWT. But it should get picked up once the old site is crawled again.

Set the redirect first thing.

Then socially bookmark the new site

And add it to webmaster tools.....also submit an XML sitemap in webmaster tools

301 redirect all the old urls to the new ones and then start link building the new site.
