Url rewriting
Just wondering if we can implement something like -
http://www.domain.com/file.php?id=3442 to http://www.domain.com/buy-cheap-cars.html where buy cheap cars is the title of the page. Can it be done through some code pasting on the .htacesses file.

I said "it should look similar to this" and that I am not a rewriting specialist.
There is a lot of stuff missing like "Rewrite Base /foldername" and so on. http://www.modrewrite.de/13.15.0.0.1.0.phtml here you can find for example the .htaccess code for some biz directory. Additionally of course you need changes in the source code of your site because you dont link to /id=1?bla anymore but to /site-name.html So this topic is quiet complex and my technical abilities are not good enough to do that. Sorry Mate |
