    URL Mask

I'm wondering if a URL mask across my entire site (we're marketing under a new name) will negatively affect the optimization of the original domain, and respective pages. Anybody have any advice?

By URL masking I assume you are talking about making a regluar www.example-domain.com point to subdomain.example-domain.com so the actual www.example-domain.com actually is a sub domain of another domain... heh if that makes any sense.

If this is the case, i've tried this with one site and it never effected the ranks. There is not much more i can give you because i stopped the test after i saw the ranks were holding and it was still crawlable and being indexed just fine.

Odd enough i clicked that domain and a yahoo error came up, turns out Yahoo! Inc. owns that example-domain.com haha
