    Untargeted keywords VS brandname

I'm trying to avoid to agressive use of keywords in my anchor tekstlinks. But then a question was raising and I can't find the aswer so maybe you can help me out.

Is it better to use keywords that you not targeting for or just your brandname. My brandname is also in the title etc. I was quessing maybe beceasue of that google will see that also as a keyword and maybe it will be seen as overoptemalisation when I use it to much?

Variety is the order of the day. Mix it up. If you have a high percentage of your keywords with the same anchor text this looks un natural and will be flagged and probably penalized. Including your brand name is fine. For each keyword, create 3-5 iterations of it that can be used in a sentence as anchor text.

You hit upon a key point - "natural". It is entirely appropriate to use click here some times when it is appropriate. I always try and avoid only having click here though, I would usually amend it to - "click here for a guide to anchor text use" with the entire text string being a clickable link.
