Do not expect the disavow file to work immediately. It will take a few weeks to take effect.

Do one thing a time, wait to see how it affects the site , then if it's a positive effect proceed to the next step.

Making multiple changes on things can lead to disaster !! One change could be positive, and the other could be negative. This would lead you to believe both changes had no effect. Then you would go and change something else and next thing you know ... you have wrecked your site !!

Yeah. I agree with you on this....

My point is that I have often used radio advertising for my business. The one lesson I have learned is that 3 is the magic number...

    Hear it once,
People think .... It's just a rumor and disregard it.

    Hear it twice,
People think .... Hey, I have heard that before.. Maybe there is something to this after all !

    Hear it thrice..
People think ... This is a fact, How did I not know this... let me go and act on it immediately !!

One of the reasons you hear radio commercials 3 times in an hour or see the same commercial 3 times during your favorite TV show.

    To summarize:

    1. Content is excellent

    2. On page stats are excellent

    3. Backlinks are not a problem

I think it leaves only one option - human raters. They made a decision, rightfully, in 2015 that the site was not on par. They probably don't visit most sites more than once a year. And it's probably hard to change their mind. Gotta learn more about these guys - maybe it's time to give up in my Bigger site.

Google said that they are ignoring most of links. And it makes perfect sense. I have no reason not to believe them.

The reason Not to believe them, is because the key figures at Google are all making conflicting statements. I completely believed the Google disavow file was useless, until a few weeks ago. In another thread, or maybe this one, we dug into the recent Google tweets on the subject. I really don't know what to believe, but one tweet from one Google employee is not hardly enough to gain my confidence.

Yeah, this could be someone overstepping their authority, and just intentionally obfuscating or it could be the truth.

It could just be his opinion about what you should do, and not necessarily what is best for you. If Google had any integrity on this issue, they could make a joint statement and let this die.
