I wanted to be number one in "Free Windows Host" so i picked the right name from the start , and here i am on number 3 . Why i am not one number one ? Cause my domain is less than a week old , yes i purchased it just few days ago . Check the who is if u dont believe

Guys Do not pay to SEO specialists , do it urself. If u dont have the right domain name for ur business then do it now .

Starting a new thread is not going to change the answer as long as the content of your post remains the same. A second or more posts saying exactly the same thing is spam.

Well, you are just missing one thing here. Nobody looks for "free windows host", people look for "free windows hosting" and you are not in top 100 there.
You probably noticed that you are not getting too much traffic, right?

Also, in his other post he says his site is 3 days old. He just does not know that many times a new site gets an interim bounce in Google before it disappears. Happens all the time.

Let him/her beat the chest and crow. Come back in a month and tell how well you are doing and how much money you are making without SEO.

(Side Note: Just about the best SEOs on here, e.g. Egol and Fathom, don't even offer SEO services to anybody else; nor do I.)

Obviously... why make money for others when you can make it for yourself... besides, why waste time trying to convince someone his site sucks and has to be redone... plus the explanation that you can't rank them in a week... no thanks... lol

I would agree that SEO is not rocket science, and a large number of people who had the time and inclination to learn how to do it could.

However large numbers of people have neither, the capacity, time or inclination to learn SEO, they probably need to use a consultant or firm.

Do you critcise a plumber because you could learn how to plumb, or and electrican because you could learn his trade?

I'm glad you've learned some seo techniques, and have had some success yourself. However I would suggest you to stop being rude about us professionals or you will become very unpopular here.

I take offense to that. Not only for me but any Seo Specialist. I take offense because your acting as if there are not true professionals when there are. There are seo teams, and there are seo individuals and in both case they can be professionals. Seomoz and Seobook are two examples of professional seo.

Also taking a little advice and a joke from old-timers isn't always a bad thing ;-)

Not wishing to piss on your bonfire or anything, but your site is new (19 February 2007). Therefore Google is giving you the benefit of the doubt (while it sorts out IBL and PR and all the other crap your obviously too clever to need to know about).

Once your Fresh Bonus (oh, errm oops, you probably dont want to know about that either) runs out you site will drop like a stone.

You can tell this will happen because the sites above and below you have far more credability (ooops, get me with the terminology again) than you.

If you're still in 3rd place in 6 months time, come back and laugh at me some more

I think that a lot of people think that all you need to do is pick a good domain and toss up a site and you will be rollin in the dough.

If that is true then why do I get my *** kicked on a lot of the terms that I go after? I will tell you the answer. Others are smarter or have greater resources to put into the war.
