Title tag question

I got a question on title tags..

I am targeting a very competitive keyword so obviously i've inserted it on my home page as it has the highest strength. To get Google to notice that the main theme of the site is based around this particular keyword should I insert the keyword onto other pages as well? Thus adding strength to my chosen keyword?

Bearing in mind I am also doing link building, which is targeting this keyword as well.

It really doesn't matter what you target... your website must have the supporting content... assuming that it is rather competitive also suggests that amount of your domain that needs to be dedicated to that topic and its sub-topics.

So sure... pages that are related to a topic should have those keyword phrases in the title... BUT just adding keywords to title won't do alot of good.

If you think your targeted keywords is also related to other page it's ok to insert it on other page title as long as you make every page title is unique.

SEO is divided into two components, on page content and off page promotion.

Relevant on page articles to the keywords and incoming web links around the theme of that keyword are crucial and go hand in hand.
