Title's not changing

Hello everyone, I'm kinda new here. I've been reading a lot of topics and have been trying to improve my google ranking, with not a lot of success I might add. My current problem is I have my site hosted here: (eckteeckte.net46.net) and I bought a domain, which i redirect to where the site is hosted.
But the problem is, the title's of my page when you go to () are static because I had to define it in my domain options. If I leave it blank it just states my domainname. But when you browse to (eckteeckte.net46.net) the titles do change! How can I fix this?
And do you have any pointers to how I could improve my ranking. I've submitted my site to most open directory sites already.

Thanks in advance,
Andre

Do you have any access to the server? If so and its Apache you can do a mod rewrite. This would enable URL manipulation. You could call any element to populate the page title such as anything with an H1 tag or even the meta keyword if you populate that attribute with a single keyword.

I can do mod rewrites, but the thing is the titles change @ eckteeckte.net46.net (which is where my site is hosted)
But when I use websitenow.nl (which is the domain I bought and I redirect it to eckteeckte.net46.net) It uses it's own custom title which I can change, but it's static.

That is not correct.

websitenow.nl does not redirect to eckteeckte.net46.net, it displays the content of eckteeckte.net46.net within a frame which is very different. This is seriously limiting what you can do with your domain and your website.

A good registrar will be able to point to the Domain Name Servers of a good hosting company. Maybe you just have to ask them... If this works, your title problem will disappear.

Keiros agrees: Again the problem of forwarding with the "masking" option.

Oh, you mean I have to set the DNS of my hosting in my domain DNS? I know a lot about making websites, not about domains
When I input the webhost DNS into my domain DNS it says it doesn't know websitenow.nl

Do you mean that you do this with the control panel of your registrar ? What is the exact message you get ?

What I did:
Went to where my site is hostedarked my domain.
Entered websitenow.nl and then went to where I registered the domain, deleted all the url forwards and clicked on enter own DNS. Entered the 2 DNS addresses of the hosting and clicked ok. It said it could take up to 48 hours to update. Did I do this right? And after this is done I shouldn't use the 'web forwards' anymore that the domain registar has which just shows my site in a frame?

Sounds good. DNS settings can indeed take 48 hours to propagate.

Traffic is low indeed because I registered my domain like a few days ago and I am in the process of optimizing my website.

What do you mean with host your website on your own domain? Like having hosting and the domain with the same company?

When you have a good registrar AND a good hosting company,
you don't necessary need to have "all your eggs in the same basket".

I have some blogs and directories hosted by cheap hosting companies, and yes, it make things easier to get the domain names from them.

But I owned sites that are hosted in the UK with domains name registered in France and it works well as both companies (registrar and hosting) are professional.

By the way, I'm really satisfied by UK hosting companies: quality of service and technical support are worth the price.

My experience is that it is better to have different companies as registrar and for hosting.

The DNS propagated here and I see that the frame is gone, but you have a 301 redirect from websitenow.nl to eckteeckte.net46.net. This is probably not what you need. Look at your cPanel or at your .htaccess file to correct it.

The DNS isn't propagated here yet, but I don't have any redirects in my .htaccess. I'll just wait till the DNS gets changed for me.
