Is there a way to do this? Find a all sites with a link to "part" of a URL?

For example... I want a list of all the websites that have a link to www.website.com anywhere in the link... So, if a website links to www.website.com/blah?blahblah.htm , I'd like those websites as well... Is there a way to do this or am I dreaming?
    Thanks.

Wouldn't that just bring back all the sites that contain "http://www.website.com" in the actual text on the page?

I want to find all the sites that have a link to http://www.website.com. But not just to http://www.website.com... They could also be linking to a different page on website.com like http://www.website.com/page1.htm

I just want all the sites that link to a site with http://www.website.com anywhere in the outbound link...

Understand? If not, let me know and I'll try and explain better...

Yes, but it's the best way so far (since the link: command died). Furthermore it DOES show all subdirs and pages you're interested in.

P.S.: johno - do you mean you put your actual and unmasked email address on all your pages? What spam filter do you use?

Seriously: does someone have more info on the @ wildcard, or isn't it a wildcard at all?

Ah, just (partly) answered my own question I think:

For example, \domain.com works the same as @domain.com but I believe this one too only shows references and not real backlinks...

"Wit" you are right. its not showing backlinks instead of putting @ we can simply search domainname.com with space in front.

I don't think that will work for me... I'm trying to find websites that competitors advertise on... They advertise with banners... So, the link wouldn't be in the text on the page. See what I'm saying guys?

Could you just go to their site and then use "check backward links"?

I do that from time to time, then submit to any directory that they are a part of that I missed.
