Is there any use of building backlinks to youtube video ?
I am trying to rank a youtube video on google for a particular keyword , i would like to know that if i make backlink to that youtube video url ..will it be any use ?
p.s :: i rank on page 1 of youtube for the keyword for which am trying to rank on google( currently on page 9 )
to rank it better on youtube i just did some social bookmark keyword optimisation in title description and few other things .

If I were in your shoes, I would post the vid on youtube and place the link where it was originally posted (your site). The viewers may like your vid and decide to post them in their site/blog and link directly to your website's page where it was originally posted. If you get a dofollow link from them, praise Almighty
Youtube links are nofollow by default and hold no SEO value - unless of course the scenario I posted above happens.

it would in some way. of course clicking on the backlink would lead someone to your video and then it would increase the views.
