The Disappearing Google!

Good morning everyone!

For some reason I keep showing up on the google index and than the next day I am off, I am very concerend with this as When I am in the listing some of my sites are coming up ranked #1 in the search for specific keywords. All of my sites seem to be doing this, and google seems to revert back to the old results prior to the last crawl. The main page I am referring to is http://VendFinder.com & http://HostRod.com have a look at the code and see if there is something that I have done to prevent google from indexing the site. The original copy of the site has been there since December of 2002.

Thanks to everyone for the help.

Sincerely, Chris

Good Afternoon (in Europe) ,

It looks like the second site you mention is new and not yet in the fixed index, in which case it will only get picked up by the Freshbot. This thread should help ...

Don't worry about it too much - after the next dance you should be at the right position.

The first site seems to be a redirect from the .net version of the web, which IS in Google, because the cached version exists. Since you're using a 301 for this redirect, again, I wouldn't worry - I'm sure Google will have found and deep crawled the .com version and you'll be in the index permanently after the next dance.

Gringo.
