Subdomains?!?
Hello,
I have read this chat almost one week and now decided to sign in, because all this SEO is confusing me and maybe someone of you can help me.
We are building up an website with total search engine optimization because the net is the only way for us to get customers. By now we have done a lot, but perhaps there is something more to do...
My question:
What about subdomains ? We want to bring up a new site that deals with different content then our actual site and supports our student with general content, that doesn't belongs to our main content/ business. But at all it should help our site and the page rank... so how can we do it?
I have read the http://www.myproduct1.mysite.com isn`t a good idea - because google could declare it as a subdomain... but on the other hand, http://www.mysite.com/myproduct... is gong on sublevels, that google doesnt recognize because it crawls only on the first sublevel on a website (I have read this) and we allready have a subdomain like http://www.myproduct1.mysite.com for our hotel and this new site would be the second. And all are linked with each other.... so what is the best choice.
If you want to have a look on our site: www.acacias.org
thanksfull & greetings from spain
