    Squidoo

    Does anyone use squidoo?

Just checked the site out and some of the articles have like 20,000 plus hits - i was thinking maybe spend sometime making a really nice tutorial then saying please feel free to re-use this on your blog/website as long as they keep the resource link.

    Does anyone else do this???

He could be talking about Squidoo. Are they the ones that use "mirror" terminology (as in an article that comprehensively covers an area is called a mirror)? On the other hand, I don't know if Squidoo allows these items to be reused on other sites, and I know the one Niche mentioned does.

If it's Squidoo, I can say that I've used it as a reader once or twice, and keep meaning to delve deeper. If I remember correctly, they have an excellent how-to section on doing a quality blog.

But that probably doesn't answer your question.

i am talking about squidoo dude.

What im saying is that by the looks of the articles/tutorials on the squidoo site, they seem to gain alot of hits somehow either through good rankings in search engines or through a mass number of people searching the squidoo site within the category the articles/tutorials would be found therefore gaining them alot of hits.

Ive had a good look around the squidoo site and it allows you to add a link to a external site - so if i was to type please feel free to use this article/tutorial on your own blog/website as long as you keep the link, you would think it would generate more backlinks then a article submission site.

Maybe ill have to trial and error this and let you guys know!

I think the term they use for an article is "lens".
I plan on using Squidoo soon.

Did not used it ever but have heard that Squidoo is a good option fro driving traffic to your website but I would prefer Hubpages as they are easy to create with wide categories available there.

To me Squidoo is the great web 2.0 tool. you can add your rss feed, video, poll etc... Using squidoo you can create lens, every lens has its individual score. they have certain policy or say algorithm, if you follow those steps your lens score will be increased and reached to certain level where your lens will be qualified to be featured on the Squidoo. They do nothing new than ezinearticles. once your lens qualified to be featured on squidoo your lens listed to many similar lenses and start referring traffic.
