Spider Software
Does anyone know off a software package that allows you to see what a search engine spider will see IE: googlebot
Sounds pretty dumb I know..... but any ideas would be greatly apprieciated Julian |

i have also heard that the spiders see the web as though a linux machine would, just a thought

It sure does, since I'm viewing this using Mandrake 9.0 on Mozilla 1.1 and it looks about the same as it does for you I imagine.
You mean some text based browsers? Lynx and such? I find simspider is nice for picking up silly mistakes etc too... me likey likey.
