    Spam ?

If I use my url say http://www.this-is-an-example.com/ as the keword in my links while link swapping will this be considered as spam by se majors? (generally I use kewords like football, football news, etc)

Also will it help my site :

    i. Rank higher
ii. Encourage the visitors to visit my site anyway

    Please suggest.

    Definatly NOT.

Keywords in domain shows direct relevancy and resourcefulness to SE.

But it look cheap to visitors
