Sitting in sandbox

Hi All,

Its my first post here though I am couple of months old to the site. I am enjoying this great site.

I have some questions

1) what is google sandbox?

2) what is website sitting in the sand box mean? How do I know that?

3) What is site came out of sandbox? What does it mean? How will I know that?

4) What implications these things have on SEO.

Experts Please.

Thanx

A probationary period applied to all new sites in varying degrees of aggression and presumed to be related to the competetiveness of a particular search term rather than a blanket site filter.

Your site is new, and thus has the sandbox filter applied to it.

Your site is now not so new and has gainedx some authority.
You will know this when you start ranking higher for some competetive keywords.

If you look at it the right way the sandbox has no implications to your SEO process what so ever. You just need to write quality content and get quality links. Link to relevant content and provide a good resource.

There are no tricks or quick work arounds if you want your site to do well long term. You just have to wait it out.

The sandbox effect does not exist any longer. It was the result of a technoloigal limitation that was eliminated after google last major infrastructure update around April last year.
