Should I allow someone elses Analytics code on my website?

We carry a page of advertising for a company and they want to put their Analytics code on that single page. Is there any reason we shouldn't do that? We do use Analytics ourselves if it has any bearing.

They'll only get stats for that single page which really only carries their own information.

I once had a similar request from a vendor, but he implied that he wanted site-wide stats and I turned him down. I can't see any harm in giving them stats for one page promoting their product.

No, I don't think you should allow because that person will be able to see your traffic data.

Do you understand the difference between a PAGE and a WEBSITE?
Do you see entire websites traffic report when you add the analytics code to one Page only? NO.

Hey, I completely understand the difference between a page and a website. But can you please let me know what is the benefit of adding someone else code on single and why we should allow it on our website. Please explain me in detail.

Get statcounter and give them read only access. Your making this so much harder than it is.
