    SERP fluctuation. Is it normal?

    Hey guys,

I've a website which is running since last year december. I'm write articles twice a week (with internal linking, etc), and for sure I try to do my best with SEO.
I always check my main keywords with a checker tool on my mobile (SEO watcher) and I experience heavy fluctuations time after time.
I try to be up to date with google algorithm updates due to SEMrush so I'm not always surprised, but it's kinda weird for me.
    It looks like this:

Or is it normal? What cause this type of fluctuation?
I actually have pretty weak backlink profile, based on some forum posts, company registering websites, etc.
I will develop this asap with guest/contributor posts on high DA/PR sites with proper anchor text, I hope that helps.
Thanks for your help in advance!

If you do best SEO practice, and keep yourself updated as Google Algorithm, so you must know, Backlink is one of the important signal in Google Ranking. You should not avoid your Backlink Profile, Though you have good and interesting content, if you don't have strong backlink profile, then you can't rank, and hence it result in SERP fluctuation.

So kindly build good backlinks, you will get the result.

Are you saying you have a website that has a blog? We really need to know about your situation...

But if you have a blog and there is no static page, you can expect SERPs to go all over the place with each new blog post. Even a website with a blog placed in a widget will cause movement of SERPs, as the link juice going to a post from your Home page will change for old posts as they 'fall off' and out of the widget when new posts are made.

Fluctuations are totally normal - it's important to understand how these tools work though. There's simply no way that any tool (SEO Watcher included) is going to be able to provide the exact position due to personalization and a range of other factors (including geographic influences). Here's a question - are you receiving visitors for that particular keyword when you're in a lower position?
