SEO Holding Page
Is it worth trying to build backlinks to a holding page before my website gets fully launched? I've thought about putting a few brief words with a few keywords in so it may get indexed. But what else could I do? Your opinions would be appreciated.

Definitely wait till it is live. There's a few reasons but an obvious one is most self-respecting webmasters won't bother linking anyway. Remember they want to link to sites that could be beneficial to their own visitors.

It is best to wait until your site is live.

Other than that, put some content in. Even a 30 second pre-sell video might be sufficient.
