SEO for Newbies - My 1000th Post

My 1000th post...Following the lead of another recent 1000th post, I thought I'd make this one of some value to all the SEO Chatters out there. Actually, this will be of value mostly to the newbies. I've put together a list of urls that would be of use to the SEO newbies. Articles, tools, etc. that should be first-reads. Many of these will answer the most commonly asked questions in the forum. Get these facts under your belt, and you'll instantly gain considerable SEO knowledge. I'm sure there are lots of articles and tools I've left out that are just as good, but this was just a little collection that I believe will be of instant benefit to the new SEOs. Now remember, newbies, this isn't the end-all, be-all of your SEO education. It will take lots more reading, experimenting, and practicing before you gain all the knowledge you need (and in fact, that is a never-ending process), but this should definitely jumpstart the learning curve for you.

How does this link define an easy or hard keyword? It loads pretty slow so does it also look at backlinks and stuff?

its very fast for me. i have no idea what criteria they use, or how accurate it is. it seems to be pretty accurate for the terms i've targeted however.
