SEO advice for Google
Dear Google,
I have noticed that the Google AdWords Keyword Tool is no longer in the Google search results for Google AdWords Keyword Tool.
Previously, when I searched for the phrase, this URL came up:
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
but since you moved the tool to this new URL:
https://adwords.google.com/o/Targeting/Explorer?__u=1000000000&__c=1000000000&stylePrefOv erride=2#search.none!ideaType=KEYWORD&requestType= IDEAS
-- it is no longer anywhere in the results for itself.
I was puzzled by this and decided to figure out the cause. It took all of a minute, I ran a server headers check on the old URL:
#1 Server Response: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
HTTP Status Code: HTTP/1.1 302 Moved Temporarily

Dear Google, please change that redirect to a 301. A 302 redirect is not SEO friendly and does not transfer Google rankings to a new URL!
Sincerely,
