Same server multiple listings?
Sites on the same server ranking together?

If three sites on the same server show the same product and currently rank 1, 2, and 3 for that product name on google should we expect google to start to do something about that and start to remove som,e of those sites from the results.

Being on the same server doesn't necessarily mean that there's anything going on which is against Googles TOS

I agree with ClickyB, as long as none of the sites are doing anything against Google TOS there is no reason why they shouldn't be ranked 1, 2 and 3 just because they are on the same server.

IMO that would be like Google penalizing web sites that are similar just because they use the same hosting company.

I see less and less of this these days.

Keep us posted on how long you hold those positions. I will not be surprised if one of them disappears in a near future update.

Some hosting companies only have a few IP for all their operation and have thousands of domains parked there, so this cant be true.

Also if this was true i will start looking at websites that are highly ranked on very competitive keywords and get a account in their hosting service..
